About Me

I'm Erick Wambugu, a passionate meteorologist, teacher leader, and tech enthusiast dedicated to bridging literacy and climate awareness gaps in underserved communities. I serve at Ngwata Primary and Junior School in Mlolongo, Machakos County under the Teach for Kenya fellowship.

As the founder of Read Connect, I lead a literacy initiative empowering students with reading skills through digital tools and play-based learning. I'm also skilled in weather data analysis and forecasting from my time at the Kenya Meteorological Department.

My interests lie at the intersection of science, education, and technology. I'm currently advancing my software development skills through the Power Learn Project. I'm committed to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), striving to empower communities through knowledge.
